Joe Peterson

Joe is a graduate of St. Mary’s College in Moraga, where he earned his B.S. in Accounting. He later received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and his LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Joe brings over twenty years of experience as a practicing tax attorney to the Affinity Capital team and has a well-earned reputation for finding clarity in even the most complex tax issues. When he’s not deep in the code, Joe enjoys spending time outdoors — hiking, biking, and tackling weekend yard projects that tend to be more ambitious than planned. A Lafayette native, he brings the same steady, hands-on approach to his work.
